I was able to make some time in between working and applying for scholarships for college to get my next unit painted for the IC Hobby Progress Challenge. That unit is my second Venerable Dreadnought Jophiel!

I also have gotten my 2 Nurgle Helldrakes primed while testing a new paint for use in my airbrush. Which turned out well enough.

Additionally I have a couple of WHFB armies I've been trying to sell recently and while going through my The Empire army I found some Flagellants that I have now drafted into service as Priests for my Astra Militarum army. I need to find a use for One of the Ten I have, however seeing as how I have over 6k points for my Astra Militarum army I can take 9 of them if I wanted too >=D

Also I've been working on getting my terrain I've had lying around in boxes for years made up for use on the table finally. The process is simple I've just needed the time.

Now to paint Jophiel up, take pictures, post them in an update to this, and to hopefully be able to make enough money to get proper storage for my armies. I'll get more pics of things I've been working on as things progress.

March 2014 Hobby Progress

Alright in the last post I put up a picture of my unpainted WIP Deathwing Dreadnought Mordekai. I was able to sit down and just focus on it and was able to get him painted! So here he is! This model is an old school metal Dark Angels Dreadnought from the end of 2nd Edition. I've had him in storage for at least 10 years now. It is really good to see him finally painted up =D

I was also able to get started making a handful of terrain items. As well as a few custom made new models for my Deathwing Army & a new squad!

The terrain items are:
- Destroyed Rhino
- Destroyed Landraider
- Fuel Dump
- Ruins

The new models for my Deathwing are:
- Interrogator-Chaplain Nathaniel
- Librarian Amael
- Company Master Conrad
- Deathwing Heavy Flamer Squad Malloc

I'm still trying to build more terrain for the board that I have at my apartment that I play games with my roommate on. He plays Tau so terrain is sorely needed =P

Deathwing Dreadnought Mordekai

This is just a quick post to upload a photo of my WIP Deathwing Dreadnought Mordekai. I am painting him up for the IC Podcast Hobby Progress Challenge. I'm really late in getting this started because this month has sucked and I've needed to look for work. Trying to hobby while looking for a job isn't really an easy thing to do.

I still need to finish painting his other weapon options, yet the way I primarily equip him is complete.

However I'm currently in the process of painting something different. My last Nurgle Obliterator and my six Nurgle Chaos Spawn! Alright back to work.

Hobby Progress Update!

Short post here seeing as how I need to get to bed.

I've completed painting my Belial model for the IC Hobby Progress Challenge.

Two Stormeagles and Two Stormtalons have been primed.

Three Cyclone Missile Launchers for Contemptor Dreadnoughts and the third Contemptor Dreadnought have also been primed.

Additions of another squad of Deathwing Terminators w/ a heavy flamer have been purchased and built as much as possible until bitz arrive in the mail.

3 More HQ units for my Deathwing have bitz en-route. Another Interrogator Chaplian, Librarian w/ Force Sword, and a Company Master with chapter relics.

Also working on a Vogen campaign with my roommate.

As well as I've updated and created about 8 new missions for games of 40K.

Here are my updated pictures of my Belial model. Finishing the base is to follow.
